Popular Hamilton snack bar is opening a second location

A popular Downtown Hamilton spot for small bites, share plates, and libations is teasing a forthcoming second location.
Merk Snack Bar is a staple of Ottawa Street North known for playful tapas bites like Korean fried chicken bites, tater tot poutine, and samosa chaat tacos served alongside creative cocktails, craft beer, and wine.
Though details are still to come, Merk has dropped its first notice that they plan to open a new location on the Hamilton Mountain along Concession Street.
The new spot will be located within the forthcoming Town Hall Social Eatery: a new venture by the Social Event Group that will function like a really cool food court with a variety of locally-owned food and drink options.
Locals can surely expect even more of what they love about Merk Snack Bar’s Crown Point flagship, with a creative selection of ever-changing snacks and shareable dishes.
