An Oakville restaurant and bar known for its playful, chef-driven plates has officially opened a sister location in Hamilton.
Plank Restobar is now open for service at 18 Augusta Street in Hamilton, a strip known for numerous other nightlife spots like The Ship, The Pheasant Plucker, and The Judge.
With a menu that favours local ingredients and shifts around seasonally, Plank has become a hearty favourite at its flagship Oakville location, known for sharing plates, larger platters, handmade pizzas, and more served in a relaxed, rustic setting.
Plank Restobar is tucked away by the lake in the #BronteVillage area of Oakville. Priding itself as a local gathering spot specializing in small places, great music, and an outstanding selection of beers, wine, and bourbon. This is a must-try if you are ever in the area! pic.twitter.com/3JVUwa6UYq

The Hamilton menu closely follows the Oakville restaurant, with playful dishes like Reuben egg rolls, Big Mac-style arancini, sliders, bao, duck poutine built for sharing and sturdier solo plates like steak frites, sandwiches, salads, and bowls that fuse local ingredients and international recipes.
A small menu of tempting desserts promises a sweet finale, and a thoughtful drink list features craft beer, local wine, and creative house cocktails.
The menu at Plank Restobar is full of eye-catching eats, and we can’t wait to check out this new addition to the city’s ever-growing food scene!
