The Keddy Access Trail, which connects pedestrians and cyclists between the Hamilton Mountain and lower city, will see some partial closures this week.
In order to complete some railing repairs along the pathway, the City is closing the trail between the entrance at Hunter Street East and the Arkledun Avenue trail connection beginning today – Monday, December 12th – and lasting approximately five days.
The work will take place each day between 9 am and 3 pm, with the trail reopening each day in the afternoon and evening to follow.
REMINDER: Stating today, for approximately 5 days, there will be daily closures (9am – 3pm) on a portion of the Keddy Access Trail in order for crews to safely complete railing repairs. Details: https://t.co/oGLUDrmbPq

The aim is for the work to be completed on or before end of day on Friday, December 16th, weather permitting.
Cyclists who use the Keddy Access Trail can still access it between the Arkledun Avenue trail connection and Southam Park. They can also take advantage of the HSR’s Mountain Climber program, which lets cyclists take free bus rides up and down the escarpment year-round.
