As Hamilton approaches a picturesque fall season, the popular Spencer Gorge Conservation Area – which features the Dundas Peak, Webster Falls, and Tew Falls – has begun requiring reservations for visitors.
Beginning September 28th and lasting until November 10th, those who want to visit any of these spots through the fall season will need an advanced reservation on any day of the week.
Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA) membership holders only need to pay the $10 reservation fee. For everyone else, there’s a reservation fee of $10 plus a vehicle fee of $11 and a per-person fee of $5.

The reservation model, which allows hikers to book a specific 2-hour timeslot to enjoy their fall adventure, is an effort to prevent overcrowding on the trails during their most popular season for foot traffic.
New for 2024, those who wish to experience the spectacular views at Dundas Peak, Webster Falls, and Tew Falls in a single visit can reserve an extended 4-hour slot to do so.
To book a reservation now, visit hcareservations.ca and select Spencer Gorge!
