ServiceOntario has extended validation to driver’s licences, health cards, and more

In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, ServiceOntario has extended validation to many expired and expiring products.

These products include the following:

• health cards
• driver’s licences
• licence plate stickers
• Ontario Photo Cards
• Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration certificates

ServiceOntario urges Ontarians not to visit a service centre unless completely necessary, recommending that you complete your transactions online if available.

If you do need to visit in person, please ensure that you’ve washed your hands thoroughly before going, do your best to keep at least 2 metres away from others, and cough or sneeze into your sleeve or tissue, washing your hands after.

It’s important to note that not all ServiceOntario centres will be open or may have adjusted hours so be sure to check the status of local branches before heading out, if you truly must do so.
