One of Hamilton’s only grocery shops specializing in keto-friendly food products has announced that it is closing its doors.
Keto Kravings, located at the corner of Ottawa and Barton, is eye-catching for its purple signage and Willy Wonka-esque branding that houses a wide selection of low-carb and keto-approved foods.
Breakfast items, breads, baked goods, candy, snacks, baking supplies, and more are on offer here for those on a keto diet.
However, for numerous reasons – including rising costs – Keto Kravings has shared the unfortunate news that the storefront will be closing at the end of October.
“The current economy is not on our side. Since spring, we have been struggling with rising shipping costs, increased product prices, a sinking US/CAD Dollar exchange; and more recently, severe supply chain issues,” wrote Keto Kravings on social media.
“It truly breaks my heart to make this announcement, and I hope you all understand. It was not an easy decision. But as I’m writing this, you should know that all options have been explored, and the numbers just don’t support the business anymore.”
October 31st will be Keto Kravings’ last day in business, with products on clearance sale.
