Someone broke into Nanny & Bull’s on Barton Street in Hamilton

A brand-new bar on Barton Street in Hamilton was the subject of a break-in and theft.
Nanny & Bull’s recently opened its doors at 627 Barton Street East next door to popular Detroit pizza spot MaiPai Tiki Bar.
The bar has become a quick neighbourhood favourite for its relaxed atmosphere, nicely curated drink selection, and tasty bar snacks like oysters, olives, and pretzels & dip.
Sadly, a break-in overnight on Sunday, March 23rd led to Nanny & Bull’s taking on some small damages and seeing much of their stock stolen including all of their liquor, some cash, and the on-site safe.
The individual who broke in used bolt cutters to access Nanny & Bull’s lockbox; no staff were harmed, and the windows and doors of the bar were not damaged. More expensive items inside including televisions and iPads were left untouched.
“Obviously in our first month as a small business, this feels like a big hit, even though it could have been much worse!” wrote Nanny & Bull’s in a post on social media.
“If you’ve been waiting to come check us out, this week would be a great time.”
