Someone used Simpsons characters to represent Hamilton neighbourhoods with hilarious accuracy

Have you ever wondered what characters from The Simpsons best represent the various neighbourhoods and well-known subsections of Hamilton?

I mean, chances are you haven’t; but nonetheless, someone has actually done the work to match those iconic Simpsons characters with their most fitting neighbourhoods in our city, and the results are pretty hilarious.

Envisioned and created by a Reddit member with the username Aimless27, ‘A Guide to Hamilton as told by The Simpsons’ captures a wide variety of local neighbourhoods and landmarks, tying them to characters from the long-running hit television series.

Some particularly fun highlights from the lighthearted pairings include bartender Moe Syzslak and Hess Village, Springfield’s Mayor Quimby and Hamilton’s Mayor Fred Eisenberger, Hans Moleman and Dundas, Springfield’s rival Shelbyville residents and Burlington, and Lyle Lanley – the Monorail shyster – with Metrolinx.

The comments on the image posted to Reddit have poured in, pointing out their favourites in the image poking a bit of fun at our eclectic city.

What are some of your favourites pairings on the list? Let us know in the comments!
