Spot for fluffy Japanese soufflé pancakes is opening in Hamilton

Sweet-tooths of Hamilton, take note: a unique sort of dessert spot is getting ready to open its doors in the city.
Fuwa Fuwa – a small Canadian chain with locations in the Toronto area – will soon be opening its first Hamilton location at 2 Newton Avenue in Westdale Village, serving up their signature Japanese soufflé pancakes.
The dessert spot’s name translates to “fluffy fluffy,” and the name is very apt: these pancakes are thick yet pillowy and airy like a soufflé thanks to the base of whipped egg whites in the recipe.
Those soufflé pancakes come in a variety of tempting flavours including tiramisu, cookies & cream, crème brûlée, French toast, matcha white chocolate, and numerous others, making for a desserts that’s equally decadent and light.
Other desserts like macarons, cookies, and pudding are joined by handmade drinks from sodas to lemonades to coffee, making Fuwa Fuwa a place that will surely attract plenty of attention once it officially opens.
