Sweet new shop for unique candy opens in Hamilton

A new Hamilton candy shop recently opened, and they’re ready to give you a serious sugar rush.
Sugar Hi Candy Shoppe, open now at 3194 Highway 56 in Binbrook, has gone out of its way to source candy and treats you won’t find at your typical convenience store.
International snacks, nostalgic throwbacks, and hard-to-find gems are all on offer here in the form of gummies, hard candy, chocolate, chips, and drinks like flavoured sodas.
Locals might remember Sugar Hi’s Binbrook shop as the former home of Domenic’s Pizza, which closed up just prior to the start of the pandemic; in fact, it’s the same family running the show behind this sweet new operation.
The range of candy – from Pop Rocks to YooHoo Chocolate Bars to Fun Dips and well beyond – looks like it features something for pretty much anyone and already has us feeling like, well, kids in a candy shop.
