Hamilton’s YWCA will be presenting this year’s virtual Women of Distinction event hosted by local singer-songwriter and JUNO Award nominee Terra Lightfoot.
The online platform will be used to shine a light on local women who have been working or helping out during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A ticket purchase will include access to the live stream of the gala, one meal from a local restaurant, access to the Women of Distinction virtual platform, and a “Best of” Hamilton/Halton grab bag.
The Women of Distinction virtual platform will include virtual auctions, raffle draws, and other events usually provided at the gala.
Nominees will be celebrated in three different ways by the Women of Distinction Awards including a Meet the Nominees virtual announcement, the awards gala, and two Power Hour panel discussions.
Categories of the nominees will be organized as Frontline Workers, Health Care Heroes, Pandemic Innovators, Community Champions, and Young Trailblazers.
The 2021 YWCA Women of Distinction Awards will live stream on March 4th. Tickets are available at the YWCA website.
