You are reading urbanicity, therefore I will presume you live in a generally urban area. This makes you a neighbour. While adhering to the ‘love thy neighbour as yourself’ decree may be a tall order, it’s easy enough to be a better person
to live near, or to at least try. Here are a few ways I have recognized, omitting the truly obvious ones like not stealing my recycling bins or feeding feral cats.
Melissa was born and raised in Hamilton and currently does her best to be a good neighbour. For example, she once removed a chip bag from a cat’s head that was in distress after laughing for an appropriate amount of time. When not compiling lists, she can be found coveting Nancy Meyers movie sets, amassing striped shirts and listening to Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings.
