The JUNO Awards are coming to Hamilton in 2026

Canada’s biggest music awards have chosen Hamilton as the city to host their 2026 event.

According to an announcement from the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (CARAS), The JUNO Awards will officially take place on Sunday, March 29th, 2026 at the newly transformed Hamilton Arena, previously known as FirstOntario Centre and Copps Coliseum.

This will be the seventh time in the awards’ history that the JUNOs – which honour the biggest names in Canada’s music scene – will be hosted in Hamilton. The 2025 awards are taking place in Vancouver.

“Hamilton’s dynamic music scene and rich cultural heritage make it an ideal location for the JUNO Awards,” said Allan Reid, President and CEO of CARAS and the JUNO Awards.

“We are thrilled to return to Hamilton and be one of the first events in Hamilton’s newly renovated downtown arena. The city and Province of Ontario continue to show their passion for music and the arts, we’re looking forward to 2026.”

The JUNO Awards will be one of the first major events to take place in the transformed Hamilton Arena, which will feature modern upgrades, state-of-the-art acoustics, improved sightlines, premium seating options, lounges, upgraded concourses, and more.

The 2026 JUNO Awards will be broadcast live on CBC. Those interested in tickets and updates can sign up at junoawards.ca/Hamilton
