This Hamilton road has been named CAA’s Worst Road for 2022

The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) just released its annual list of the worst roads for driving in Ontario, and a noteworthy Hamilton road has taken the top slot for 2022.

The Hammer’s own Barton Street East has been named CAA’s worst road in the province for this year, beating out others like Eglinton Avenue West in Toronto, Barker Street in Prince Edward County, and Carling Avenue in Ottawa.

Barton Street East has climbed to number one after first appearing on CAA’s list in 2019 at number five, then bumping up to third place in 2021.

It’s also not the first Hamilton road to make the list; in fact, Burlington Street East held the number one spot for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018.
