Responding to our current collective love of all things nostalgic, Tim Hortons has announced the relaunch of two retro donuts sure to bring back memories.
The giant Canadian coffee chain shared on April 18th that they will be temporarily reviving the Walnut Crunch and Cherry Stick on their menu after more than 10 years of absence.
This June, an icon is making a comeback.

These two donuts are coming back starting May 31st in honour of National Donut Day on June 2nd, and will only be around for a limited time.
“Both the Walnut Crunch and Cherry Stick were iconic donuts in their time and I’m happy to report they still pack the same punch in every bite,” said Tallis Voakes, Director of Culinary Innovation at Tim Hortons.
Hamilton residents, however, have not been fully bereft of these two classic donuts. Grandad’s Donuts – known for their quality takes on simple donuts that taste like Tim Hortons at their prime – has been offering the Walnut Crunch and Cherry Stick on their own regular menu for years.
While Grandad’s remains closed for renovation, this retro relaunch at Tim Hortons may be just what Hamilton donut lovers need to scratch that itch!
