This weekend’s momentous 108th Grey Cup championship game is a particularly exciting one for Hamilton, with the game hosted at our very own Tim Hortons Field and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats set to hit the field against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Ahead of what is sure to be a nail-biter of a match, mega coffee chain Tim Hortons – which itself also has roots in Hamilton – has brought out limited edition paper coffee cups to commemorate the 108th Grey Cup.

Rather than the standard reddish-brown cups Tim Hortons patrons have come to expect, the coffee giant is doing a limited run of grey coffee cups with the Grey Cup logo on them.
“With the Grey Cup being hosted in Hamilton this year – the birthplace of Tim Hortons – and at Tim Hortons Field, we wanted to do something fun to show our support for the exciting event that Canadian football fans look forward to every year,” said Tim Hortons president Axel Schwan.
In the days leading up to the game, Tim Hortons customers who order a beverage this week in a medium or large size will get the limited edition Grey Cup coffee cups, while supplies last.
The 108th Grey Cup kicks off at Tim Hortons Field this Sunday, December 12th at 6 pm.
