Hamilton is getting an intriguing new speakeasy that offers intimate vibes and knockout drinks.
My Father Was Famous will be opening very soon at 229 James Street North below Italian restaurant Caro as a playful new project by the restaurant’s ownership.
Tucked behind a sneaky bookcase with access granted by a password hidden somewhere onsite, My Father Was Famous fully leans into the feel of a true Prohibition-era speakeasy.
Though select lucky Hamiltonians got a sneak peek of the space this past weekend, the new bar opens to the public on December 9th, promising an eclectic new nightlife spot for handcrafted cocktails, shareable snacks and small bites, and all-around good times.
It’s a unique kind of spot for Hamilton, and we’re so excited to see My Father Was Famous launch to the public this week at 229 James Street North!
