Westdale shop for meat pies and more has closed in Hamilton

A shop for handmade meat pies and other delicious sweet and savoury baked goods has quietly closed its doors in Hamilton.

The shop was Hamilton Meat Pie Co.’s recent second location in Westdale Village, building on top of its flagship pie shop at 601 Burlington Street East.

Their popularity allowed Hamilton Meat Pie Co. to launch their sister Westdale location at 854 King Street West, where it stuck around for just over a year after opening in summer 2021.

However, for reasons unknown, the Westdale shop quietly closed its doors recently; the storefront has gone dark and a search for the location on Google reveals it to be permanently closed.

While those in West Hamilton will surely miss the convenient access to the shop’s handmade deliciousness, locals can still get their fix at Hamilton Meat Pie Co.’s flagship location on Burlington Street!
