With a solar eclipse<\/a> happening in early April, Hamilton\u2019s McMaster University has purchased 600,000 pairs of \u2018solar-safe\u2019 glasses so residents can view the eclipse without harm.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total solar eclipse is expected to occur on April 8th with first contact of the moon beginning to cover the sun starting at 2:03 pm in the afternoon. The total eclipse will occur around 3:18 pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
