Food truck for Mexican street eats opens in Hamilton

A new Hamilton food truck specializing in Mexican street food is sure to earn itself hidden gem status.
El Destino Mexi-Can is open now at 845 Highway 6 North as a colourful trailer parked right outside Clappisons Corners Antiques, serving up authentic Mexican street eats made with quality ingredients.
With choice of proteins including steak, pork, chicken, beef, and shrimp, the menu at El Destino features tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, birria, tostadas, loaded Mexican fries, and much more.
The tiny food operation opened at the beginning of June and is already receiving high marks from locals who have stumbled upon it.
“If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go,” reads one comment on Facebook. “Great food. Great prices. Great service. Great people!”
El Destino Mexi-Can is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30 am to 7 pm each day. Swing by to give them a try!
