Hamilton Mountain pizza place closes its doors

A solid spot for pizza and shawarma on the Hamilton Mountain has sadly closed its doors.
Yimee’s was a family-owned pizzeria that first opened at 402 Concession Street in late 2020, serving up an uncomplicated and affordable menu of comforting pizzas like classic pepperoni, Hawaiian, and Canadian alongside chicken shawarma and falafel plates.
They were also popular for their tasty house-made garlic sauce, which they even sold for retail by the bottle.
Sadly, after three and a half years on the Hamilton Mountain, Yimee’s has closed its doors with little fanfare as of June 10th, halting operations at their Concession takeaway shop.
This isn’t the first pizzeria on the Concession Street strip to close up shop recently. The local favourite Concession Pizza also quietly bid farewell, being replaced by another pizza place under different ownership called Red Stone Pizza.
