Hamilton shop for candles and more closes its doors

A Hamilton shop known for its scented candles, bath & body products, perfumes, and more has quietly closed its doors. 

Forrest & Harbour first opened at 180 Locke Street South in August 2022, building on the success of its flagship location in Grimsby. 

Mainstay and seasonal soy candles in a variety of scents were the main draw, but the product line also included natural deodorants, linen sprays, diffusers, and much more alongside items by local and regional artisans. 

However, after less than two years on the Locke Street strip, Forrest & Harbour’s first Hamilton location appears to have closed up shop, with their social media listing Grimsby as their sole location. 

While a public announcement of the closure wasn’t made by Forrest & Harbour, the last time they posted about their Hamilton location was April 21st. Their Grimsby location at 18 Main Street West is still open, so go support them there!
