Every Christmas season, Spencer Smith Park in Burlington is lit up with holiday lights and this year will be no different.
Lakeside Festival of Lights announced on their website that they will be moving forward with this year’s display and keep the tradition going despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Starting on November 27th and running through January 8th, the Lakeside Festival of Lights has 60 light displays spread out across Spencer Smith Park.
The event is not ticketed and starts daily at 4 pm with the lights being turned off at midnight. Lights will be lit for extended hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Orthodox Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.
Visitors can walk through the festival with displays being far enough apart to maintain physical distancing. There is also an option to drive through the festival with the displays being close to the road.
Although there isn’t any food at the festival, there are several local bars and restaurants nearby. Parking is also available just a short walk from the festival.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Lakeside Festival of Lights.
