A brand new poké spot has opened in Hamilton

If you’re the kind of hungry Hamiltonian who can’t get enough poké, a new spot in the city’s east end is about to make your delicious dreams come true.

Poke Co, a brand new Crown Point restaurant slinging those famous Hawaiian sushi bowls, joins the Hamilton food scene at 193 Ottawa Street North after officially opening last week.

A new poké restaurant is undoubtedly going to be an easy favourite with Hamiltonians; in fact, Pokeh, our city’s O.G spot for fresh, made-to-order poké bowls, has itself shown no signs of slowing down since it won the hearts of Hamilton lunch-seekers a few years ago.

As an alternative option serving Hamilton’s east end, Poke Co’s already sizeable menu is loaded with bowls like the Chaka Khan, which features salmon, miso dressing, crispy and brown rice, and numerous cuts of fresh vegetables like carrots, cucumber, scallions, and pickled ginger.

If raw fish isn’t your bag, the Hanoi Rocks bowl, which features sous vide pork as the star protein, might be right up your alley. Hamilton vegans won’t feel left out either; The Goods is a bowl with compressed tofu and loads of fruit and vegetable goodness like edamame, pomelo, avocado, bean sprouts, and zucchini noodles. Not a bit of meat or dairy in sight here!

With countless combinations available in a build-you-own-bowl style, Poke Co. pretty much has something for everyone. So head over to Crown Point and say hi to this delicious new local lunch spot!

Poke Co. is open now at 193 Ottawa Street North. More details and the full menu can be found on their website.
