A massive winter maze is coming to Hamilton

Mazes aren’t just for the cornfields in fall anymore, thanks to a new winter maze experience that’s coming to Hamilton.

The Giant Maze will be opening soon at the Ancaster Fairgrounds, running from December 26th, 2022 to January 8th, 2023 and open daily from 11 am to 4 pm for visitors to enjoy.

Presented by Street Eats and GripBlock, The Giant Maze itself is constructed out of recycled wood and will measure 120 feet by 120 feet and stand 7 feet tall, making it the largest structure of its kind in Canada.

On top of the fun outdoor maze experience, The Giant Maze will also feature food trucks, a live DJ, marshmallow fire pits, a hot chocolate bar, scavenger hunts with prizes, train rides, and more.

Tickets for The Giant Maze must be purchased in advance at $12.99 for those ages 13 and up, or $9.99 for those ages 3 to 12. Visitors ages 2 and under can access the event for free.
