Burlington Waterfront Sculpture Trail is back for 2024

Art lovers ought to head to Burlington to check out this year’s Burlington Waterfront Sculpture Trail: a free, fully accessible event that exhibits a beautiful array of sculptures and public art pieces.

From now until June 1st, visitors can stroll a trail mapped out along the Burlington Waterfront and take in 30 evocative and diverse sculptures by artists from across Canada including Liz West, David Paolini, Joon Hee Kim, Stephane Langlois, Tamara Kwapich, and many more.

Now in its third year, the Burlington Waterfront Sculpture Trail exists with the goal to “bring sculpture into the public realm in a free and accessible trail linking major elements of Burlington’s stunning downtown core and waterfront.”

Each artist showcased in the trail was paid an exhibition fee for the presentation of their work, and visitors can follow a map on the event’s website to visit each sculpture and learn more about each artist and their creative intent.

It’s a fantastic public art event that shouldn’t be missed by visual art aficionados and casual appreciators alike! Check out bwst.ca for more details and a map for the trail.
