Hamilton restaurant named one of Canada’s top 50 spots for a date

From our famous waterfalls to stunning scenic overlooks, Hamilton has never been short on romantic vibes. Proving that point even more is the announcement of OpenTable’s top 50 Canadian restaurants for a date; a list that includes our city’s very own Berkeley North.
OpenTable, one of the world’s most prominent online reservation providers for restaurants, regularly releases its own lists of the best local, national, and international food spots.
Their list of Canada’s top 50 restaurants for a date, the first OpenTable list of its kind, was curated and ranked based on over 500,000 restaurant reviews and ratings on OpenTable’s website. Though Hamilton famously hosts an acclaimed culinary scene, Berkeley North was the only local establishment to make the list.
A hot spot on King William Street’s burgeoning restaurant row with numerous accolades to its name, it’s totally unsurprising that Berkeley North, which just celebrated its 3rd year in Hamilton, ranked so highly across Canada.
On top of incredible dishes and a classy-yet-laidback aesthetic, the restaurant also has undeniably intimate ambiance, with a menu that puts heavy emphasis on its tantalizing share plates. And what could be more romantic than sharing a some tapas over candlelight and a carefully-curated bottle of red?
