Holly Ellsworth-Clark’s parents return to Hamilton as missing person search continues

Holly Ellsworth-Clark, a Calgary-born musician who had recently moved to Hamilton to pursue her music career, has been missing since January 11th.

Over five months after the 27 year-old was seen leaving her Sanford Avenue North residence in distress – an open-ended incident which led to immense search efforts from local police and the community itself – there has been virtually nothing in the way of closure for her mysterious disappearance.

Many loose threads and potential theories surrounding the incident have been explored, but nothing conclusive has come from the search, leaving Holly’s family, friends, and the Hamilton community with a pile of questions that still don’t have answers.

Were other people involved in Holly’s disappearance? Did her mental health play a role? Is she still in Hamilton? Is she being held against her will? Is she still alive? Anything is possible, but nothing is confirmed.

However, that hasn’t even come close to stopping Ellsworth-Clark’s family and loved ones; in fact, her determined parents are now returning to Hamilton from Calgary to more directly continue their search. Her family had left Hamilton back in early March with plans to return sooner, but COVID-19 prevented immediate travel back to the city.

But Holly’s parents, Dave Clark and Greta Ellsworth, are now back in Hamilton alongside search leader and friend Elle McFearsin to continue their search, hand out flyers, and rally the community to keep their eyes out and provide any potential information or tips the family still hasn’t uncovered.

The family is even offering a cash reward to those who come forward with new leads and reliable information about Ellsworth-Clark’s whereabouts.

“There may be some people out there who are motivated by money, and that would be who we’re hoping to pry loose,” said Dave Clark in a recent video.

Clark and McFearsin have been the active faces of the ongoing movement to find answers, with both being in constant communication with the public through live Q&A sessions on the Holly Clark Search Facebook group as well as appearing for interviews on the Nighttime Podcast; a Canadian podcast that has been doing in-depth coverage of Holly’s disappearance in an ongoing investigative series.

Anyone who may have information regarding Holly Ellsworth-Clark’s potential whereabouts are encouraged to send an email to bringhollyhome2020@gmail.com. Ongoing updates can be tracked on the Holly Clark Search group on Facebook. A GoFundMe page has also been created to raise funds in aid of search efforts.
