New family restaurant opens on Concession Street in Hamilton

A new family-friendly restaurant serving up wholesome breakfast and lunch has opened in Hamilton. 

Akus Family Dining is now open for service at 518 Concession Street on the Hamilton Mountain, swiftly taking over the restaurant space that recently held Newfoundland-inspired eatery Stage Diner. 

The new restaurant specializes in all-day breakfast, with staples like bacon & eggs, waffles, breakfast burritos, Western sandwiches, omelettes, tartines, and much more. 

On top of that, expect some select lunch specials like shrimp coconut rice with chicken, beef lasagna, spaghetti & meatballs, poutine, chicken wings, and salads. 

Coffee, drink specials, and homemade lemonade round off a menu that looks like it’s got something for pretty much anyone. 

Akus Family Dining is open from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays, and 7 am to 5 pm on weekends. Pay them a visit at 518 Concession Street to get your first taste!
