Longstanding Hamilton pub closes, reopens new pub in Hess Village

A longstanding pub on the Hamilton Mountain has closed one door and opened another.
The Fox & Fiddle has long been a fixture of Lime Ridge Mall, serving up pub comforts like cold beer on draught, chicken wings, sandwiches, burgers, shareable appetizers, and more.
However, in an announcement on social media in November, The Fox & Fiddle shared the news that they’re permanently closing their Lime Ridge restaurant and setting their sights on a fresh future.
The reimagined spot is called Pub 36 on Hess, and it’s located at 36 Hess Street South with an updated menu, new specials, but the same staff locals will remember from the original Fox & Fiddle.
The new English-style pub opened its doors officially on December 15th and is ready for guests to pop by for a bite to eat and a pint or two!
