Sunnyside Grill on the West Mountain has opened its doors

Just in time for Sunday brunch, the brand new location of Sunnyside Grill has officially opened its doors on Hamilton’s west mountain.
A popular chain of restaurants with locations across Ontario serving up lunch and all-day breakfast, Sunnyside Grill has taken over the space previously occupied by the longstanding Phyl’s Family Restaurant on Upper Paradise Road.
While locals may lament the loss of the family-owned Phyl’s, Sunnyside is no slouch when it comes to the most important meal of the day. If you’re looking for a reliable, diner-style, straightforward breakfast, Sunnyside will probably be your cup of tea… or coffee.
Besides traditional breakfast plates, omelettes, and pancakes, Sunnyside Grill also slings a slew of sandwiches and burger options if you’re not in the mood for eggs. And sure, Hamilton has no shortage of bougie brunch options kicking around; but sometimes, you just want something simple. That’s what Sunnyside Grill is here for!
Check out the new location of Sunnyside Grill from 7 am to 4 pm daily at 930 Upper Paradise Road on the Hamilton Mountain.
