VIDEO: Hamilton driver caught running red light while driving on the wrong side

Seems like some Hamilton drivers might need a crash course in not crashing.

In another astonishingly irresponsible move by a local driver, a video was posted to Reddit showing a black hatchback vehicle not only running a red light, but doing so while driving the wrong way on the wrong side of Main Street West in Hamilton.

The video, captured and posted by Reddit user VoteBroccoli, was filmed around 7 pm on Monday February 10th just outside of Columbia International College and near McMaster University.

Spotted yesterday at 7 pm in front of Columbia College from Hamilton

The driver is seen attempting to squeeze their vehicle into oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the Main West strip, in what some Reddit users speculate was a selfish attempt to make an illegal shortcut and get to the highway more quickly.

“Driving this badly should honestly result in a license suspension that’s undone after a period of time and re-testing. They knew exactly what they were doing,” comments Reddit user kevinbrownesays.

This footage coincides with other recent video that captures multiple motorists blasting shamelessly through the red light outside of Hamilton City Hall, even as pedestrians were attempting to safely cross the street with their right of way.

All in all, it doesn’t make Hamilton’s current driving culture look too hot.
