Saturday

Strawberry Folk Fest

Looking for some fun for the whole family? Come check out the Strawberry Folk Festival. There’ll be live music, craft vendors, horse and carriage rides, and plenty of food.

The Strawbery Folk Fest goes from 10 am to 6 pm, running out of the Stoney Creek Legion. The event is free but make sure to bring your wallet to pick up some goodies.

Playhouse Cinema Open House

Curious about Playhouse Cinema’s renovations? Here’s your chance to take a look inside the historic building and get an update on its renovation status. If you’re a movie fanatic, they’re selling some incredible vintage posters straight from their vault!

This free event runs from 12 to 5 pm.

Liquid Art Festival

The wait is over, Hamilton. Liquid Art Festival is finally here! This festival features beer from over 50 brewers, as well as artists and musicians from around the world. Liquid Art Festival will even feature an original piece by Banksy.

There’ll be two festival sessions taking place on Saturday. The first session will be from 12:30 to 4 pm, and the second goes from 6 to 9:30 pm.

The event takes place at Collective Arts Brewery. Tickets are available online and prices range from $30 to $199.95. Standard tickets cost $59.95.

Polyester Pride Party

There’s no better way to celebrate Pride in Hamilton than the Polyester Pride Party. The party will feature performances by Xtacy and Priyanka. Rose & Fruitloop will provide the night’s tunes.

Polyester Pride Party takes place at This Ain’t Hollywood and runs from 10 pm to 2:30 am. Cover is only $10 at the door.

Sunday

Father’s Day Bike and Brewery Ride

Bike rides and tasty brews? Say no more. Celebrate with dad this weekend and explore West Hamilton’s micro breweries by bike. On the ride, you’ll visit Grain & Grit, Fairweather, and Shawn & Ed.

This bring-your-own-bike event will be 10 km and at a leisurely pace. If you’re participating, a helmet and a bell or horn is mandatory.

The event runs from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and costs $30. You must sign up in advance online by 3 pm Saturday.

Hamilton Pride Park Day

Happy Pride, Hamilton! Visit Gage Park this Sunday to celebrate Pride and all it stands for. There’ll be plenty of activities taking place, such as live entertainment, multiple vendors, a beer garden, and even a free BBQ lunch.

Pride takes place every day, but this event runs between 12 and 6 pm. Park Day is free to attend, but make sure to bring your wallet to pick up some goodies!

SalsaSoul Saturday

Are you ready to dance the night away at this month’s Latin dance social? Strut your stuff on down to The Spice Factory and enjoy this fun and friendly social.

SalsaSoul Sunday runs from 7 to 10:30 pm. Beginner dance lessons start at 7 pm and the dance social begins at 7:45 pm. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.
