Over 100 autumnal scarecrows have appeared all over a neighbourhood in the Hamilton area.
That’s because the annual Scarecrow Walk is back in Waterdown Village for its 7th year, with 120 creative scarecrows peppered through the streets waiting to be discovered by passersby.
From now until October 31st, locals can stroll Waterdown Village and try to find as many of the scarecrows as possible, decorated in ways that range from silly to spooky.
There’s even a scavenger hunt component, where participants can find clues on randomly selected scarecrows and enter into a draw for a chance to win some prizes using an online ballot on the Waterdown Village website.
In addition, there’s a People’s Choice Award where visitors can vote on their favourite scarecrow for the chance to win a $200 shopping spree prize.
It’s the perfect family friendly activity to do leading up to Halloween, so pop on over to Waterdown Village and see how many scarecrows you can spot.
