If you’re feeling a bit of beer fatigue after partying hard for Halloween, a different and non-alcoholic kind of drink festival might be exactly what you’re looking for.
The Royal Botanical Gardens is hosting a Tea Festival this coming weekend on November 9th and 10th, pouring warm and comforting cups of steeped deliciousness in perfect time to ward off the wintery chill in Hamilton.
FEATURED TEA: Bliss Blend from @TeaRebellion
While slightly darker than some white teas, White Prakash includes vanilla, spring blossoms and melted butter notes.

On top of being able to sample a wide array of varieties from around the world, local tea sippers can also dive in on some of the fascinating cultural history and origins of tea and take part in a traditional tea ceremony. There will also be live performances, guided tea tastings, and other educational presentations led by special guests that will teach you more than you ever thought you’d need to know about tea.
The festival also promises to be a great way to get some early Christmas shopping done, as a large selection of specialized tea vendors will be on site to help you get a handle on some seriously great holiday gift ideas.
Whether you’re into black, green, herbal, white, oolong, or rooibos, there’s something for every tea lover at the Royal Botanical Gardens’ Tea Festival.
The Tea Festival runs at the Royal Botanical Gardens on Saturday November 9th and Sunday November 10th from 10 am to 4 pm. Tickets are available in advance on their website.
