Did you think the wintry weather was over and done with this season? Think again.
Despite recent bouts of warmer spring weather, Hamilton is expected to receive some surprise snowfall on late Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning, with the possibility of up to 10 centimetres of the white stuff hitting the city.

Environment Canada has forecasted that temperatures will fall below freezing to -1 degree Celsius later Tuesday evening, and expects that overnight snowfall will bring anywhere between 5 to 10 centimetres to Hamilton.
Snowfall is then expected to end around noon on Wednesday, with a chance of more flurries later in the afternoon.
The bout of snow should be short-lived, however, with temperatures expected to warm up again by Thursday and Friday that should see the snow melt away just as quickly as it came.
This is certainly not weather any Hamiltonians expected or wanted this week, but hey: 2021 is full of surprises.
