80-year-old Hamilton resident Shirley Love missing since Tuesday

A search is ongoing for 80-year-old Hamilton resident Shirley Love, who has been missing since Tuesday, December 13th.

Reports from police indicate that love was last seen near her home on Mount Albion Road, headed south toward Glendale Golf Course at around 2 pm on Tuesday.

Hamilton Police have set up a command post at Glendale Golf & Country Club and have been requesting the aid of local volunteers to help in their search. They also ask residents in the Mount Albion area to check their properties and surroundings.

Reports describe Shirley Love as a white female with an average build and short brown hair. She is possibly wearing a grey jacket, black pants, grey shoes, and grey or black gloves.

On Thursday, police received new information that Love may have been spotted in the area of Greenhill Avenue and Summercrest Drive on Tuesday between 4 pm and 10 pm. Those in the area are urged to check their property including sheds, tarps, decks, brush, and anywhere else a person could hide.

Hamilton Police will be providing updates through their Twitter account. Locals who may have information about Shirley Love are asked to call 905-546-2963.
