A new restaurant specializing in elevated cuisine is preparing to open its doors on Hamilton’s Locke Street.
Noir will be opening at 137 Locke Street South in the two-storey restaurant space that notably held craft beer-focused restaurant Brux House before briefly housing gastropub The Lockesmith and Southern spot Whoa Nelly for a few months each.
Though many details are still under wraps, Noir promises an “elevated culinary experience” that will feature “exceptional wine and hand-crafted cocktails, paired with seasonally inspired dishes.”
That’s not a ton to go off of just yet, but the restaurant will be in good hands: Noir is the latest venture from the team behind Secco on James Street South, a newer spot which has quickly become a favourite for internationally inspired dishes and a Prosecco-forward drink menu.
That fact alone makes us feel confident that Noir is going to be a very worthy addition to the Locke Street strip, and we can’t wait to learn more as they work towards a hopeful summer opening.
Follow them on social media for updates!
