Kawartha Dairy is opening a location in Burlington

One of Canada’s best makers of ice cream and other dairy deliciousness will soon open a storefront location in Burlington.
The famous and family-owned Kawartha Dairy has announced its plans to set up shop at 3465 Fairview Street, where they’ll offer their beloved ice cream as well as milk, cream, butter, and beyond.
Locals been buzzing about the announcement since this family-owned company, which first launched in Canada in 1937, broke the news in a social media post.
“We can’t wait to be a part of your great family memories this summer, bringing you delicious fresh milk and rich and creamy ice cream, still made the traditional way,” wrote the company on Instagram.
Though Kawartha Dairy has a small number of storefront locations across Ontario including Barrie, Newmarket, Peterborough, Orillia, and Huntsville, this will be the first location in the Hamilton-Burlington area.
A firm opening date for the Burlington store has not been announced yet, but Kawartha Dairy is targeted a spring 2024 launch. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled and our ice cream scoops ready!
