A free Grey Cup viewing party is happening at Tim Hortons Field

If the fact that the Hamilton Tiger Cats’ big Grey Cup championship game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers is happening way out in Calgary has you feeling a bit of FOMO, don’t worry. Plenty of local restaurants, bars, and event spaces in Hamilton have you covered with viewing parties, including one at the Ticats’ own home base: Tim Hortons Field.
Tim Hortons Field will be hosting a viewing party of the 2019 Grey Cup championship game on Sunday November 24th at 5:30 pm.
On the big day, eager football fans will be able to access the field through Gate 3 at the stadium, with sections 104, 105, and 106 open for patrons to sit and watch the game broadcast live. Some seating will also be open in the club level lounge seats. And oh yes, concession stands will be open for a bite and a drink (or three).
While entry to the viewing party is totally free, attendees are encouraged to bring some non-perishable goods as a charitable contribution to Hamilton Food Share in aid of local families in need for the forthcoming holiday season.
It’s going to be an unmissable event, so toss on your Ticat colours and head down to Tim Hortons Field to celebrate this monumental Grey Cup match!
The Grey Cup Viewing Party at Tim Hortons Field kicks off on Sunday November 24th at 5:30 pm. Admission is free, but please consider bringing non-perishable food items to donate to Hamilton Food Share.
