Grab some wet wipes and tuck in those bibs, because a new spot for saucy, smoky BBQ has opened its doors in Hamilton.
Big Bone BBQ has been in the works on its latest location at 244 Governors Road in the Spring Creek Plaza in Dundas, building on the success of existing locations in cities like Newmarket, Oakville, Markham, Barrie, Ottawa, and more.
Just ordered from BigboneBBQ. The phone line was busy so I drove down and learned why, lined up to the door and growing.
So looking forward to it. The place smells great and the staff, awesome!#bigbonebbq #Dundas— Cam Goede (@CamGoede) April 1, 2022
The Ontario-born chain’s main claim to fame is that it was one of the first restaurants to bring Southern-style barbecue to Canada after first establishing itself more than 25 years ago. They’ve even taken home top honours in more than 50 barbecue competitions!
Comforting classics like ribs, wings, and pulled pork are on offer here alongside some burgers, poutines, salads, and sides like fries and slaw.
Available for dine-in and takeaway, Big Bone BBQ is sure to become a popular option amid a brimming barbecue scene in Hamilton, bringing those Southern-style flavours to the Dundas area and filling a west-end gap.
Check ‘em out at 244 Governors Road, and see more on their website!
