A new vegan dessert shop has opened in Hamilton

Sweet-toothed vegans of Hamilton, this one’s for you: a brand new plant-based bakery and sweet shop has just opened its doors downtown.
Fairly Frosted Vegan Bakery, open now within the Kitchen Collective at 811 King Street East, serves exclusively plant-based, nut-free, and gluten-free treats ranging from cakes to cookies to tarts to homemade coconut milk ice cream.
With its exclusive focus on ethical sweet eats, Fairly Frosted Vegan Bakery has come along just in time to fill the void left behind by Barton Street’s Lick the Whisk, another vegan bake shop that recently, unceremoniously closed its space for good at the top of 2020.
The images shared to Fairly Frosted’s Instagram feed are enough to make even Hamilton’s non-vegans swoon; dense layered cakes, deadly-looking tarts, and towering waffle cones of decadent ice cream that just might put their dairy and gluten-based counterparts to shame.
