A pleasure to join Tom Beckett & Suzanne Beckett this morning for the grand opening of Beckett Fine Art at 196 Locke St. S!
I’m delighted to have Tom return to #HamOnt after 20 years and bring back the Beckett tradition of fine art to our city!#LoveYourCity pic.twitter.com/XRwnjIuzR7

Although the gallery that opened this week is new, the Beckett family started their business in Hamilton decades ago when Hubert Beckett sold portrait photography services in a studio on James Street South.
Eventually, the studio was transformed into an art gallery after Hubert Beckett’s son joined the business. Thomas Beckett opened the first gallery at the James Street location in 1966.
The family built a reputation for selling rare and coveted original art, prints, and art appraisals. Many of these services have also shifted to being available online.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Beckett Fine Art ships art purchases, offers curb-side pick up and contact free local delivery.
