Burlington’s Sound of Music Festival is on this weekend

Burlington is going to be filled with the sound of music all weekend long.

The 2023 return of the city’s famous Sound of Music Festival kicked off on June 15th and runs through to June 18th at Spencer Smith Park, bringing dozens of live music acts together with food, vendors, rides, games, and so much more.

General admission to the Sound of Music Festival is free, so locals can simply roll up and enjoy all of the varied activities the festival has to offer for 2023.

Just some of the performers on this year’s lineup include Crash Test Dummies, A Flock of Seagulls, Default, The Struts, JJ Wilde, Lindsay Ell, the Road Hammers, Saliva, Goodnight Sunrise, and so many others.

One of the trademarks of the festival is the Grande Festival Parade taking place on Saturday, June 17th at 11 am, featuring marching bands from across North America, floats, performers, and vintage vehicles making their way through the Burlington streets.
