An outbreak at KOI Restaurant was declared by Hamilton Public Health after the agency confirmed two COVID-19 cases linked to the restaurant.
It was announced on Thursday night that there is an outbreak at the south Hess Street establishment. Public health advises that anyone eating at KOI on Tuesday, September 20th should self-monitor for COVID symptoms.
Hamilton Public Health Services has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at KOI Restaurant at 27 Hess St. S, after two confirmed cases have been linked to the restaurant.

Anyone who thinks they may have symptoms of the novel coronavirus should reach out to the Hamilton Public Health Hotline.
“An outbreak is declared if there is evidence of COVID-19 transmission within a particular setting,” reads a media release from the City of Hamilton, adding that the city’s law enforcement team has also been called for further investigation.
Hamilton Public Health reported six new COVID-19 cases on October 1st taking the overall total since the start of the pandemic to 1,166 confirmed cases.
About 45 per cent of the city’s current 92 coronavirus cases in the last 10 day have been people under the age of 30.
