More groups in Hamilton are officially eligible to book an appointment for their COVID-19 vaccine, include a wider pool of essential frontline workers, residents with at-risk health conditions, and locals ages 40 and up.
To date, Hamilton has administered at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines to roughly 42 per cent of residents over the age of 16.
THIS WEEK: Hamilton’s COVID-19 vaccination program expands to include individuals with at-risk health conditions, individuals from “Cannot Work from Home – Group 2” (effective May 11), and individuals ages 40+ (effective May 13).

As of today – Tuesday, May 11th – even more locals from the aforementioned identified groups can book their vaccine appointments online via the Ontario vaccine booking portal.
Those without a computer can book their appointments via phone by calling Hamilton public health’s COVID-19 hotline at 905-974-9848, option 7.

When booking an appointment, Hamilton residents will be required to self-attest to their health condition or essential work position.
