Doors Open Hamilton is coming back for 2022

An annual Hamilton event that lets locals take a peek inside of some of the city’s most beautiful and intriguing heritage sites is making a return for 2022.

Doors Open Hamilton has announced that it will be hosting in-person events after a few seasons of scaled-back affairs and virtual engagement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Taking place on May 7th and 8th this year, Doors Open Hamilton gives residents special access to a wide variety of local heritage spots like Auchmar Manor, Erland Lee Museum, Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum, Dundas Town Hall, The Cotton Factory, Beach Canal Lighthouse, St. Augustine’s Church, and many others.

The popular event lets locals tour sites they otherwise might not get to see, and soak up some fascinating Hamilton history along the way.

Doors Open Hamilton is a free event that runs on May 7th and 8th from 10 am to 4 pm each day, and locals can go on their website at doorsopenontario.on.ca to view all of the sites for 2022 and plan out their own schedule!
