Famous fried chicken chain opening second Hamilton location

A chain restaurant known for its fried chicken is opening a second location in Hamilton. 

Church’s Texas Chicken first arrived in Hamilton in 2022, opening its first location at 1241 Barton Street East in the Centre on Barton. 

Soon, a second spot for the chicken chain will be opening its doors at Highway 8 and Gray Road in Stoney Creek, in the corner of a strip plaza that also features food spots like Osmow’s Shawarma, Firehouse Subs, and Pita Pit.

Church’s Texas Chicken originally launched in San Antonio, Texas in 1952, since growing into a substantial international fast food chain with locations in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and beyond. 

Not unlike other fried chicken chains like Popeyes or KFC, Church’s offers up sandwiches, wraps, chicken meals with sides, chicken tenders, and more. 

No word on a specific opening date for the new Hamilton location, but locals can stay up to date by checking out their website.
