Forge FC has released the new kit for the 2020 season

Hamilton’s professional soccer team, Forge FC, released the design of their new kit for the 2020 season this past Thursday night.

The Canadian Premier League Twitter account released a flurry of images of each of the founding teams with the new designs for their 2020 kits.

Forge’s kit still has the orange, white, and grey that was part of their championship winning season. The three colours are large horizontal stripes with six tonal orange stripes across the middle.

Different communities are represented through the six tonal stripes. The six regional municipalities represented from the Hamilton area are Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Glanbrook, Hamilton and Stoney Creek.

The CPL champions will be the first team to have the Gold Champion Patch on the sleeve of their kit for the 2020 season. The patch will sit on the right sleeve in the place of the CPL badge that each of the other teams will wear for the season.
