Free 2-hour street parking is beginning in Downtown Hamilton

The city of Hamilton is offering a small holiday gesture for local motorists through the holiday season, as 2-hour street parking in Downtown Hamilton’s International Village will be free for a full month starting on November 24th.
Every day from November 24th until December 24th, drivers who want to get some holiday gift shopping done at the variety of local shops in the International Village can save their pocket change and take advantage of two hours of free street parking at the Village’s parking meters.
Loaded with dining staples and independent local shops, the International Village is the perfect spot in the city for some killer Christmas gifts; whether it’s a selection of fresh-baked macarons from Nuttybutter Café, a gift card for 193 Bench Kitchen’s delicious lunch menu, or some one-of-a-kind jewelry finds from local artists and artisans available at Studio 205, it’ll be easy to check off a good chunk of your Christmas list in one downtown visit.
Free 2-Hour Street Parking takes place in Downtown Hamilton’s International Village beginning November 24th and finishing on December 24th.
The International Village boundaries include both sides of Main Street East, King Street East and King William Street from Mary Street to West Avenue. Parking is reserved for shoppers and diners in the International Village BIA.
